Professional Services – Can you volunteer and provide any of the following services, if so we’d like to hear from you: planning, highway design, landscaping, environmental support, project planning and management, public relations, business planning, marketing and construction services.
Office Support Volunteers – Do you have experience of working in an office or would you like this experience? We need volunteers who are familiar with one or more of the Microsoft Office software packages – Word, Excel or Publisher to provide support to the Administration Manager with general tasks including letter writing, poster and flyer design, managing data etc.
Event Co-ordination Volunteer – Do you have experience of organising or supporting events? Is this something you would like to learn more about? Do you have a good telephone manner and an ability to negotiate? Are you organised and able to research using the internet? We need volunteers to support our activities ranging from fundraising dinners, physical challenges to bag packing and collections.
Social Media and Website Support Volunteer – Are you familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite, LinkedIn and/or WordPress? Are you interested in promoting the work of Transformation for Veterans to the outside world? We are looking for someone to support the promotion of our charity.
Bag Packing and Collections Volunteers – Can you spare a few hours once or twice a month, usually on a Saturday to help with bag packing and collections and various venues across Cheshire and its surrounding areas?
Ambassadors – Are you an ex-serviceman with a passion for supporting injured colleagues? Are you able to stand up and promote Transformation for Veterans in front of a group of interested people? We are looking for committed volunteers to promote the work of T4V and help us to achieve our goal to support veterans, their families and widow(er)s.
For office-based opportunities, we ask that you commit to work with us for one day a week. Other opportunities are on an as-required basis. We are particularly looking for Veterans or family members to come forward and volunteer, however all we expect is an understanding and an affinity with Veterans’ issues.
